Gone Fishing... sort of.

The wonderful thing about living smack in the middle of the Great Outdoors is that you don't have to go very far to find the... well, the REALLY Great Outdoors. So this weekend my mother and I packed up my two boys and found a stunning little cove called Garland Bay to create our own little adventure. I have one of those moms that is a walking testament to the notion that women can do anything, with one of their hands tied behind their backs even. I have never personally tied either of her hands behind her back but I have no doubt that she could put the idea to the test and come out successful.

These children couldn't ask for a better Grandma. And yes, she bakes cookies also. Really yummy ones.
